Fig and Friends Pet Rescue
We adopted our little cat Bessie from Fig and Friends Rescue and couldn’t have been happier with both Bessie and Fig and Friends. I found Julie and the rescue network so accommodating. After looking on Petfinder, we told Julie what cats we might be interested in meeting. Based on this, Julie brought both cats to our home. It gave us a chance to see how both cats would take to our house and us. If we could, we would have taken both cats. I could tell both cats were use to being around other people. They were both playful, happy and social. When we decided on Bessie, Julie brought her to us. Bessie came to us vaccinated, spayed and litter trained. Julie went over background medical information on Bessie with us. We knew we could contact her if we had any other questions or concerns. We even learned about how Bessie ended up at Fig and Friends from a person on the Fig and Friends Adopters Page on Facebook. Over the past 5 months, Bessie has adjusted to life with us just fine. She is social and playful, and we have had no litter box or food issues with her. We attribute that to the foster care she received as a baby kitten from Fig and Friends Rescue.

Rebel Dogs Detroit
Rebel Dogs is an amazing rescue. They work around the clock helping Detroits stray dog epidemic. I have adopted three dogs from them and have always had a wonderful experience. I will always be grateful for Rebel Dogs. Thank you for being here and doing the difficult and necessary work.If you are interested in fostering, adopting, or volunteering this is a wonderful organization to go through.

Popcorns & Binkies Rescue Haven
This rescue always puts the needs of the animals first vs just sending them home with anyone. I felt honoured to be able to adopt my 2nd bunny Poppy fromthen. They never shy away from the critters that need special care and give hope to them. They also have great advice and encouragement for you when you need it. Any animal that gets rescued from them is in for their best life. Strongly recommended for serious animal lovers.

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue, Inc.
We adopted our dog from Heart of Niagara in 2014. She was injured when they took her in, saving her from euthanasia at a shelter down south. Her injuries led to her leg needing to be removed. The shelter fundraised and provided all the medical care she needed and saved her life. When we met her, she was a scared but sweet little thing with a broken leg and no hope for a future. She came home with us the day her stitches came out from her surgery to remove the broken leg. She has been the missing piece to our family ever since. She is sweet, smart and quirky. And without Heart of Niagara she would not be a part of our lives. She has rolled with what life throws at her from a big move to a new family member and the loss of one of her favorite people. We will never be able to thank Heart of Niagara enough for bringing her into our lives and still asking for updates after all these years.

LOYAL Rescue
We are so thankful to have found Loyal Rescue, we wouldn't have found our sweet pup without them! They are VERY thorough in selecting candidates which seems to be where a lot of the negative reviews stem from. People with negative experiences are quick to jump on the internet and speak up.With that aside, my experience with Loyal Rescue was nothing but positive: We went to an adoption event at a local pet store where we met Torvi (dog!), and got to meet the woman taking care of her at the time. We chatted for a while and exchanged contact information (we were not the only ones interested in this dog...) A few days later we received a phone call from Loyal Rescue saying they would like to arrange a home visit, but it was not certain whether the dog was ours at this point. We passed" the home visit inspection and then received word a day later that Torvi would be coming home with us. It was certainly a process but I appreciate how thorough they are with selecting a home for their dogs. They really try to place the dogs in the right environment for their particular needs/issues etc..I would definitely use Loyal Rescue again in the future."

Day Dreams Farm Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation
They ask and ask for donations, and offer services/things to make money but don’t follow through. They offered to hide Easter eggs as a fund raiser but never followed through to do it. They confirmed a date for a birthday party and then ghosted me until I gave up 2 weeks before (they still never contacted me to cancel, agree it wasn’t happening, OR EVEN APOLOGIZE for leading me on that my child could have her birthday party there. NOT ONE APOLOGY ABOUT THIS.THEY emailed me and told me to call them and never answered their phone, returned voicemails, returned emails, and the ONLY time I got responses is when I commented on their Facebook post where they yet again, asked for donations. I got immediate responses there.I wanted to have a party there to raise money for them, like they said they could do and they sent me the info and confirmed a date, and then I never heard from them again. I couldn’t get 2 mins on the phone. I called every day, some times twice. The whole thing could have been avoided with 2 mins to talk, but instead they acted super unprofessional.AND Their social media person at one point FAKED an automated response after reading several of my messages and then after my last one suddenly had a “response.”And don’t even try to dispute this because I have the receipts… Screen shots, phone records, emails, all of it. You sent me the package options, said a date would work, that I could call, and then completely ghosted me.And I’m not the only one that’s been ghosted… you failed to follow through with Easter hunts as promised as well. How hard is it to call someone back or acknowledge them? How do you do business?? Why did you know want my $1200?? Makes no sense. Stop offering services if you can’t complete them.

Raider Wildlife Control
So very Glad Raider Wildlife was recommended to me. If you have a raccoon problem, call or email Raider Wildlife Control (Chris and Blake). Within hours I got a call. Blake was here with the team in 24 hours to do his check and provided me a quote within 15-minutes of leaving. The price was great, and their team was here in two days to do the required work. Everyone on the team was kind, respectful, and took the time to explain everything to me. I appreciate the fact that Chris gave me a call after to make sure everything was good. I can not say enough to how respectful the team is.The team that came and secured my home were extremely professional and meticulous. They treated my home like their own. They did a top-notch job, taking care to match my existing house materials with the new protection they added to my home. This company is the real thing, and I could not be happier. The customer service was literally the best I've ever experienced in a long time.Thank you to the Raider Wildlife Team for solving problem!

Family Dog Rescue
We could not be more pleased with our experience at Family Dog Rescue. Would give 10 stars if we could. The staff was extraordinarily knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, especially Marisa who helped us every step of the way through our adoption process. We will be recommending Family Dog Rescue to all our friends and get excited whenever we meet FDR dogs out on walks. We say we hit the dog jackpot with our sweet girl, but in reality FDR team matched us with exactly what we were hoping for, and for that we’re eternally grateful.
