Stray to Play

Great concept! I just wish I could adopt!

A fantastic organization that does right by their adopters, fosters, and most importantly, the dogs.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful team at Stray to Play. This was my first time fostering an animal and after extensive screening, interviews and seminars, we were prepared and ready to go! The support we received before, during and after this process surpassed any expectation we had. The communication offered by not only the immediate team members but the online community helped us have the most successful and positive experience. If you are looking to foster, adopt or donate, Stray to Play is the organization you want to work with!

I adopted Benji through Stray to Play in July 2021. The process was extremely thorough and proved to me that Stray to Play truly puts forth its best effort to find their dogs the perfect match. If you're looking to adopt a dog in Toronto, I cannot recommend Stray to Play enough! Benji seconds the review ;)

They offered me two dogs which I did not think were a good fit, as first timers! They never sent any other dogs after that. Seems like they are pushy and then hold a grudge if you do not accept.

Amazing people running this Rescue and even more amazing doggos! We got our sweet girl London from S2P and we couldn't be more thankful!

We found Stray to Play on Petfinder. We had been searching for a rescue dog on Petfinder when we came upon one called Ren and we were re-directed to Stray to Play. We knew immediately that he was the dog for us.We were applying to both adopt a dog, and foster a dog (if a dog was not available for adopting).Through our 3 week journey we worked with various members of Stray to Play all who had various tasks to complete to ensure Ren was going to not just a good home, but to the right home.Each person we dealt with was professional, friendly and genuinely cared about the fit with the dog and the people who would be with him in his new home.The adoption process was smooth and transparent, references were required, we had a virtual in home interview, and we were able to visit Ren at with his foster (who was also amazing).This is now day 7 of Ren being with us, and although there has been a bit of adjustment for both Ren and ourselves, having him in our home has been incredibly rewarding.I would and will highly recommend Stray to Play to anybody I know who would like to adopt a dog.

Hello AllStray To Play is an amazing organization and they provide amazing services to animals and to people who they are willing to take care of animals. We fostered on of their dogs and we received all kind of support from them. They were with us whenever we needed. I have never seen this kind of support from any other organizations. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who wants bring the dog home. Foster or adopt the rescued dogs is challenging but is an amazing experience as well. I can’t thank them enough for all favors they did to us.I will apply as a volunteer on Stray to Play and it would be honored to be a part of this organization.
